Rev. William B. Bowes, LMHC
Hi! My name is William Bowes. I am a mental health professional, primarily specializing in adolescent and young adult treatment. I am also an educator, with experience teaching adults and children in both formal and informal settings, and a scholar, with numerous articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals, and chapters in edited volumes. I have several projects in the works, and am open to collaborate!
As a licensed mental health counselor, my passion is to help others flourish and find freedom, recovery from anxiety, depression, addictions, or other issues that they may experience, and to help them utilize their gifts in ways that better themselves and those around them. My clinical specialties are trauma recovery as well as healing from grief and loss. Presently, I work with young adults (17-24) in a college setting.
As an educator and a scholar, I deeply enjoy using my own pedagogical abilities to shape and form my students so that they can better understand our complex times, being formed both intellectually and personally as they impact those around them. I also love utilizing my writing skills to further contribute to meaningful discourse in the academic world. Presently, I teach courses as an adjunct at Northpoint Bible College in Haverhill, MA.
